Lebowsky (Owosso) Theatre Historic Restoration
Restoration of a historic vaudeville theatre in downtown Owosso, transforming a fire-damaged landmark into a revitalized live performance venue.
Located at 122 East Main Street in downtown Owosso, the historic Lebowsky Theatre was carefully restored following a devastating fire that left the original vaudeville-era structure partially collapsed. The project focused on preserving the building’s historic character while rebuilding the theatre as a vibrant performing arts venue for the community.
Through a comprehensive renovation effort, the historic theatre was transformed into a modern live performance space while honoring the architectural heritage of the original venue. Today, the Lebowsky Theatre once again serves as a cultural centerpiece for downtown Owosso, hosting live performances, community events, and regional productions.
