Mary Free Bed Children’s Hospital Expansion
Owner's Representative for a 61,000 SF pediatric rehabilitation facility featuring inpatient rooms, outpatient services, and a pedestrian bridge connection within Grand Rapids’ medical corridor.
Cella is serving as Owner’s Representative for the development of a new 61,000-square-foot pediatric rehabilitation facility on the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital campus in Grand Rapids. The project is designed to expand specialized inpatient and outpatient services for children requiring intensive rehabilitation care.
The facility will include 24 inpatient rooms and a range of outpatient treatment spaces, including the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Feeding Clinic. A pedestrian bridge will connect the building to adjacent medical facilities, supporting coordinated care within Grand Rapids’ growing medical corridor.
Acting on behalf of the owner, Cella is helping guide the project through planning and development, supporting the creation of a modern, patient-centered facility that will enhance access to specialized pediatric rehabilitation services for families across West Michigan.
